Launching today are a trio of PS3 apps, which cover pretty much all bases… sports, video, music and streaming, respectively, with NBA Game Time, Redbox Instant by Verizon and TuneIn radio. The latter will also hit the PS Vita soon.

- NBA Game Time App ? Just in time for the tip-off of the regular season, NBA Digital has launched an application on the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita that will allow gamers and basketball fans to track their favorite teams through live broadcasting as well as real-time scores, news, stats and highlights.
- Rebox Instant by Verizon ? Redbox Instate by Verizon delivers a one-stop shop for movies. With an $8 subscription, PlayStation 3 owners can stream thousands of movies and rent up four DVDs a month ? which can be reserved directly from the app. Redbox Instant by Verizon also offer unique Playlists ? a specially-curated collection of Redbox Instant by Verizon movies from our subscription movie library.
- TuneIn ? Delivering over 70,000 stations, TuneIn will bring the world to PlayStation gamers. With the new app, gamers will be able to find and discover what you love, from music, sports, talk, and news to live music festivals, concerts, and events. The TuneIn app will launch on PlayStation 3 this week and PlayStation Vita next week.
