Assassin’s Creed Liberation HD coming early 2014 to PS3, PC, Xbox 360


With Assassin’s Creed IV Black Flag due out in only a couple of days time, Ubisoft has sent over new details, a $19.99 price tag, and a release date for the enhanced release of Assassin’s Creed Liberation HD.

The game was originally a PS Vita exclusive, but is now set to sneak onto the PS3 and PC in January 2014, and the Xbox 360 a bit later in “early 2014”. Those who purchase a Black Flag Season Pass qualify for a $5 discount on Liberation HD too.

Today, Ubisoft announced that Assassin?s Creed Liberation HD, the striking chapter in the pre?American Revolution Assassin?s Creed saga, will arrive for the first time as a digital title on PlayStation Network on January 14, 2014, on Windows PC on January 15, 2014, and on Xbox Live online entertainment network from Microsoft in early 2014.

As Aveline, the first playable female Assassin in the Assassin?s Creed saga, you must use your skill, instinct and weaponry ? including a machete, poison-dart blowpipe, a whip and duelling pistols ? to hunt down and eliminate your enemies as you embark on an unforgettable journey that will take you from the crowded streets of New Orleans, through voodoo-haunted swamps and ancient Mayan ruins.

Completely remastered and featuring unique gameplay mechanics and an immersive Assassin?s Creed storyline delivered in stunning high definition, Assassin?s Creed Liberation HD is priced at only $19.99.

In addition, for a limited time only, players who purchase or who have already purchased the Assassin?s Creed IV Black Flag Season Pass for PlayStation 3 computer entertainment system or for the Xbox 360 games and entertainment system from Microsoft will receive $5 off their purchase of Assassin?s Creed Liberation HD.
