Special-Edition Pokémon X and Y 3DS XL launches today

Are you still hesitant on picking up a Nintendo 3DS XL? Nintendo unveils a new set of systems today that might change your mind, with the Pokémon X and Pokémon Y Special-Edition 3DS XL systems, priced at $199.99 each. The system is available today in red and blue colors and features artwork on the top-half of the system depicting Legendary Pokémon Xerneas and Yveltal. It?s worth noting that these systems do not include digital or retail copies of Pokémon X and Y, not too unusual considering the actual games don?t launch until October 12th.

REDMOND, Wash., Sept. 27, 2013 – Fans who are excited for the upcoming release of thePokémon X and Pokémon Y games on Oct. 12 will be even more excited to know that the special-edition Pokémon X and Pokémon Y Nintendo 3DS XL systems are now available in stores.

 The unique systems each feature the likenesses of Legendary Pokémon Xerneas from Pokémon Xand Legendary Pokémon Yveltal from Pokémon Y. The systems are available in either red or blue at a suggested retail price of $199.99 each.

Pokémon X and Pokémon Y are the next installments in the world-famous Pokémon series. The upcoming games offer a new generation of Pokémon, new Mega Evolutions and a host of new features. The Pokémon X and Pokémon Y games will be sold separately when they launch for Nintendo 3DS on Oct. 12.
