The latest Splinter Cell Blacklist trailer raises the threat level

Ubisoft today fired over a dramatic new trailer for Splinter Cell Blacklist highlighting the Engineers, the group of well-equipped bad guys looking to screw with the United States and Sam Fisher.

A faceless, unpredictable enemy calling themselves the Engineers has the resources and power to strike anywhere the US has interests with a deadly and efficient force. Challenged with his biggest mission yet, Sam Fisher and his Fourth Echelon team must figure out how to stop these escalating global attacks known as the Blacklist before the countdown ticks to zero.

Splinter Cell Blacklist is scheduled for an August 20th release for the PS3, Xbox 360, Wii U and PC.
