Minecraft confirmed for PS3, PS Vita and PS4

After a period of exclusivity on the Xbox 360 (retail and XBLA), it was revealed today that Minecraft will be coming to PlayStation platforms. All of them, actually.

SCEE made the announcement by letting loose a bunch of creepers during the PS4 portion of the conference, but Notch tweet-confirmed it shortly after. So if you’ve been itching to try out one of the best selling Xbox 360 exclusives (and you haven’t bothered with the PC version for whatever reason), here ya go.

Minecraft for the PS4 will be available at the console’s launch. Dates for the PS3/Vita versions have yet to be confirmed. Pricing has not yet been revealed.
