A duo of previously platform-exclusive characters for Soulcalibur II are coming to both platforms when Soulcalibur II HD Online launches this fall.
Spawn and Heihachi, once Xbox and PlayStation 2 exclusive fighters respectively, will be available on day one. And no, Link will not find his way back into the game unless Namco decides to release a Wii U version in the future.

NAMCO BANDAI Games America Inc. today announced that HEIHACHI and SPAWN will be available on both the Xbox LIVE Arcade online entertainment network from Microsoft and the PlayStation Network for the PlayStation 3 computer entertainment system versions of SOULCALIBUR II HD ONLINE. Originally exclusive guest characters for their respective platforms when the game was originally released in 2003, this will be the first time the two characters will be playable together on the same console.
Developed by PROJECT SOUL, the elite development team at NAMCO BANDAI Studios, SOULCALIBUR II HD ONLINE reimagines the beloved weapon-based 3D fighter by adding online multiplayer support to the title as well as vibrant updated graphics to take advantage of modern high definition TVs. Heralded as one of the best fighting games of all-time, SOULCALIBUR II returns to consoles this year in celebration of its 10-year anniversary.
SOULCALIBUR II HD ONLINE will be available for download fall 2013 on Xbox LIVE for Xbox 360 and PlayStation Network for the PlayStation 3 system.
