Angry Birds Star Wars flying onto consoles, Nintendo 3DS and PS Vita this October

Following up on Rovio’s reveal of Angry Birds Star Wars II, Activision this morning announced that a remastered version of the original Angry Birds Star Wars is headed to the PS Vita (finally) and Nintendo 3DS… and pretty much all the available consoles as well. Angry Birds and the PS Vita seem like an excellent match so we’re surprised it’s taken this long.  The console/portable versions will feature all new competitive and cooperative multiplayer modes and 20 new levels.

Check out the trailer and a trio of screens for the game.
