PS4 and Xbox One drive record breaking Amazon pre-orders last week

There is apparently quite a bit of pent up demand for the next generation of videogames to begin.

This morning, according to Amazon, last week was the “biggest pre-order week ever” on the Amazon Video Games store. Apparently, customers were pre-ordering more than 2,500 Xbox One and PlayStation 4 consoles per minute, although no breakdown was provided. Year-over-year, pre-orders were up more than 4,000%, compared to consoles ordered during E3 week last year.

According to their statistics, day one pre-orders nearly doubled all the Black Friday videogames sales last year. Impressive!

If you haven’t already, make sure to pre-order one of each below!
