PS3 System Software v4.46 now available

If you were one of the small numbers of users who had their PS3 “bricked” during the recent v4.45 system software update, the fix is now available.

All you need is a way to download the system software v4.46 file onto a USB drive, then plug it into the busted PS3 and initiate the new update using the system’s safe mode, and you should be good to go.

Sony has outlined how to download the file and update your PS3 on the PlayStation Support page, right here.

Now you can get back to playing The Last of Us.
