Mario Kart 8 announced for Wii U [UPDATE: Screens]

I know this will come as a big surprise for everyone, but Mario Kart 8 is indeed headed to the Wii U. Sarcasm aside, it looks like a pretty beefed-up version of the Mario Kart formula, with a host of new tricks up it’s sleeve. No idea on the full line-up of racers available, but the trailer depicts the usual suspects. It’s certainly the best looking Mario Kart we’ve seen yet.
