Go behind the scenes with Castle of Illusion Starring Mickey Mouse

We’re still quite giddy that Sega found a way to get the rights to develop a remastered digital version of Castle of Illusion Starring Mickey Mouse for current generation consoles.

So we’re definitely excited that the company released a new behind the scenes video which helps detail how this whole project came about.  Take a look at part 1 below.

Check out the behind the scenes trailer for Castle of Illusion Starring Mickey Mouse. Hear from the original creators of the iconic 1990 SEGA Genesis version as well as from the developers of the new version of the game. Completely rebuilt from the ground up, Castle of Illusion has stunning visuals and new gameplay mechanics. Fans will enjoy the original storyline as they help Mickey save Minnie from the evil witch, Mizrabel.

Castle of Illusion Starring Mickey Mouse is headed to XBLA, PSN and PC soemtime this summer.
