Activision announces Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows for XBLA, PSN, PC

It’s been a while since we’ve seen everyone’s favorite teenage turtles in video game form, but today Activision unveiled new details and information about their upcoming digital title, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows. The game is scheduled to be released this summer for digital platforms, including Xbox Live Arcade, PlayStation Network, and PC via Steam. The game is based upon the current Nickelodeon series that’s been doing pretty well with fans and critics alike.

The game is being developed by Red Fly Studios, who have done a number of portable and mobile titles, along with a few console entries, some of which have been based on licensed properties. Here’s hoping for a fun TMNT game, because it’s definitely been a while since we’ve seen one of those.

Check out the official trailer below, along with a handful of screens.
