The Walking Dead hits retail on December 11th for PS3, Xbox 360, PC


Telltale Games’ excellent The Walking Dead series finally has an official retail date for those who abstained from picking up the episodes digitally or just want them all in a nice neat package.

The North American disc release of The Walking Dead can be picked up on December 11th for $29.99, for the PS3, Xbox 360 and PC. The super limited Collector’s Edition bundle for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 is still available for pre-order at GameStop for a few more days.

Today we?re announcing that The Walking Dead will be available to purchase on disc from retailers in the United States and Canada this December 11th. Previously only available as a digital download, the series will now be available on disc for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC.

The retail edition of The Walking Dead compiles all five episodes of the game series for the suggested price of $29.99. We?ve been thrilled and honored by the way that the game has been received including the six nominations in the upcoming Spike TV Video Game Awards, and four nominations from Machinima.com’s Inside Gaming annual awards; the series has been nominated for Game of The Year by both Spike and Machinima!
