Retail package art, details for Standard, Collector’s Edition of Telltale Games’ The Walking Dead

Telltale Games’ The Walking Dead game series has become incredibly popular, just like the comic series and AMC TV series, and we’ve loved just about every release so far.

A retail version of all 5 episodic releases was a given and also announced some time ago. Telltale today provided details and images for both the Standard and newly announced GameStop Exclusive Collector’s Edition version of The Walking Dead. If you’re into the comic, TV and game series, the Collector’s Edition should definitely be on your radar.

The Stanard Edition nets you all 5 episodes of the PSN and XBLA game and will set you back $29.99. The $69.99 (GameStop exclusive) Collector’s Edition however includes the game episodes plus The Walking Dead Compendium One with the first 48 comic issues and Collector’s Edition box with exclusive Charlie Adlard art.

The Walking Dead retail packaging:

The Walking Dead – Collector’s Edition (GameStop Exclusive)

  • Extremely Limited for Pre-Order ONLY, MSRP $69.99 USD
  • The Walking Dead Compendium One featuring exclusive Charlie Adlard cover art. This Collector’s Edition of the Compendium will not be sold separately.)
  • Collector’s Edition box with Charlie Adlard artwork
  • Game disc containing the entire first season including Episodes 1 through 5

The Walking Dead is scheduled for a December 4th release at this point.
