PS3 System Software 4.30 brings new Trophy display, retired apps

Sony last night announced the next PlayStation 3 System Software Update is about ready to roll out worldwide. With the news that the new and improved PS Store update has been delayed, at least PS3 owners get a little something new for time being.

PS3 System Software 4.30 will feature a new Trophy interface and organization and will, finally, show off your PS Vita Trophy progress.

Sony also revealed that they would be shutting down the Life with PlayStation application along with the successful Folding@home distributed computing project.

PS3 System Software 4.30 is set to be available on Tuesday, but will probably start trickling out late tonight sometime.

Take a look at a shot of a new Trophy screen.
