By Zeus! God of War: Ascension multiplayer beta details and trailer now available

Sony yesterday announced that God of War fans will be able to test out the God of War: Ascension multiplayer action soon with the upcoming multiplayer beta.

The beta will go live this winter, with PS Plus subscribers getting early access, and will feature playable warriors who are aligned with Zeus.

The new official www.GodofWar.com site has also launched and features some interesting interactive and social content such as Rise of the Warrior, which allows gamers to unlock content for Ascension (include beta codes) by playing through challenges.

The PlayStation blog today announced that the God of War: Ascension Multiplayer Beta will be available to PS Plus members this winter. In the multiplayer beta, each warrior will align themselves with one of four Gods who will grant a different set of unlockable powers, armor sets and abilities, which leads to a unique style of play for each God.

The first God players will be able to align with in the Beta will be Zeus, so we?ve released a new trailer today that will give you a primer on Zeus and his powers.
