Ico & Shadow of the Colossus Collection, God of War Collection PS3 get PS Vita Remote Play today

Sony this morning officially announced that, beginning today, both Ico & Shadow of the Colossus Collection and the God of War Collection for the PS3 will be enabled for PS Vita Remote Play.

Update patches are now available for both games that allows the PlayStation Vita to connect to the PS3 and play the PS3 games remotely utilizing the Vita’s controls and 5″ OLED screen. Since the Vita is lacking the L2 and R2 shoulder buttons, the games also allows players to customize and map controls to the rear touch surface of the Vita.

Not a bad little feature update for PS Vita owners who also have copies of the games.
