Assassin’s Creed Ezio Trilogy coming to PS3 on November 13th

It must be trilogy announcement day because following up on EA’s Mass Effect Trilogy announcement just a few moments ago comes Ubisoft’s reveal of the Assassin’s Creed Ezio Trilogy.

Unlike Mass Effect Trilogy, Assassin’s Creed Ezio Trilogy is coming only to the PS3, with Assassin’s Creed II, Assassin’s Creed Brotherhood, and Assassin’s Creed Revelations, along with the DLC, on a single Blu-ray Disc for $39.99.

Assassin’s Creed Ezio Trilogy is scheduled for a November 13th release.

Read on for the announcement.

The charismatic Ezio Auditore de Firenze makes one final return to give gamers an opportunity to revisit the classic Assassin’s Creed trilogy. Launching exclusively for the PlayStation 3 computer entertainment system on November 13, 2012, for $39.99, the Assassin’s Creed Ezio Trilogy features Assassin’s Creed II with downloadable content, Assassin’s Creed Brotherhood and Assassin’s Creed Revelations, all on one Blu-ray disc.

The Assassin’s Creed Ezio Trilogy gives gamers an opportunity to venture into the life of Ezio Auditore de Firenze ? an Assassin driven by vengeance. Spanning three different periods of his life, the Assassin’s Creed Ezio Trilogy will see Ezio rise from an apprentice Assassin to building a brotherhood that will aide his war against the Templars and finally his journey to reveal the truth of the Assassin order. The multiplayer experiences for both Assassin’s Creed Brotherhood and Assassin’s Creed Revelations will be included in this bundle.

The newest entry in the series, Assassin’s Creed III, will launch on October 30. Gamers who pick up Assassin?s Creed III on the PlayStation 3 will receive four exclusive single player missions.

Set against the backdrop of the American Revolution in the late 18th century, Assassin?s Creed III introduces a new hero, Ratonhnhak?:ton, of Native American and English heritage. Adopting the name Connor, he becomes the new voice for justice in the ancient war between the Assassins and Templars. Gamers become an Assassin in the war for liberty against ruthless tyranny in the most stylized and fluid combat experiences in the franchise to date.
