Toki Tori 2 confirmed for Wii U, new trailer and details released

Two Tribes this morning announced that Toki Tori 2 is officially coming to the Wii U along with Steam. To prove it they’ve released a trailer of the game which includes brand new footage that introduces a Wii U specific feature called the Tokidex.

We’re not quite sure how the game is going to be distributed, though it’s a safe bet that it’ll be a digital download at the very least.

Toki Tori 2 is the oft-requested sequel to the original which was released in 2001 for Game Boy Color. The game features a living and breathing game world that our poultry protagonist can influence by either stomping or whistling. By studying the behavior of the game world’s inhabitants, players can solve any puzzle in the game using just these two actions.
