NARUTO SHIPPUDEN: Ultimate Ninja STORM 3 announced for PS3, Xbox 360

Namco Bandai this morning announced that NARUTO SHIPPUDEN: Ultimate Ninja STORM 3 is in development for the PS3 and Xbox 360 and is currently scheduled for a Spring 2013 release.

The 3rd installment in the impressive Naruto Shippuden fighting series is on display at the Comic-Con right now and will be the first in the series to include 3D visuals for those with a compatible display. Other than that, it’ll be bigger and better with the largest roster yet.

Leading video game publisher and developer NAMCO BANDAI Games America Inc. today announce that NARUTO SHIPPUDEN: Ultimate Ninja STORM 3 will be available for the PlayStation 3 computer entertainment system and Xbox 360 video game and entertainment system from Microsoft in spring 2013. The first North American public demo of this next blistering chapter of the NARUTO SHIPPUDEN saga will be at the NAMCO BANDAI Games America Inc. booth # 5136 at this year?s San Diego Comic-Con. The title will be the first NARUTO game for home consoles to offer visuals in 3D for the ultimate Ninja immersion experience.

To mark this special announcement, the development team at CyberConnect2 have pulled out all the stops to deliver a first playable consumer demo for fans attending this year?s San Diego Comic-Con, taking place from July 11 through July 15 at the San Diego Convention Center in San Diego, California. NAMCO BANDAI Games America Inc. will be located at booth # 5136.

NARUTO SHIPPUDEN: Ultimate Ninja STORM 3 will feature the most extensive character roster of any game so far in the series, letting fans engage with a huge number of their favorite personalities from the NARUTO SHIPPUDEN universe, be they friend or foe. In story mode, players will be thrown into a series of thrilling adventures set in the village of Konoha, while the game?s electrifying fights will be punctuated with massive scale boss battles, including a fearsome confrontation with the gargantuan Nine-Tails.
