Capcom announces JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure HD for PSN/XBLA

In a pretty surprising announcement during the San Diego Comic-Con, Capcom announced an HD release for a fairly obscure Dreamcast fighter called JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure. Priced at $20, the game is scheduled to release for both PSN and XBLA digital platforms on August 21st (PSN) and August 22nd (XBLA).

It’s definitely an oddball fighter based that I missed out on playing in the Dreamcast era, so I’m definitely excited to check out this HD upscale when it hits current consoles in August. The price point seems a bit steep, and it’s not entirely clear if the HD portion is a simple filter or if the sprites have actually been re-done, but I imagine we’ll get some more news on this release shortly.

In the meantime, check out the full press release from Capcom below!
