Tekken Tag Tournament 2 and Tank! Tank! Tank! announced for Wii U

During the Nintendo conference today Namco Bandai had a couple titles shown of, including the upcoming Tekken Tag Tournament 2 and a new game called (appropriately) Tank! Tank! Tank!.

Tekken Tag Tournament 2 is certainly a known quantity at this point, but the official PR reveals that it will have online fighting like the other console release, and some unannounced unique mechanics that’ll probably make use of the Wii U GamePad.The small video clips we saw of TTT2 during the conference also showed off some customization options, including a humorous moment involving a Super Mario Power-Up mushroom and Heihachi.

Tank! Tank! Tank! on the other hand, is certainly new for consoles. If I’m not mistaken, there is a Namco produced arcade game under the same name, but I’ve never had a chance to play it. It promises to be some type of multiplayer party game, but not enough was shown just yet to give us a better idea of what it’s all about. The only disappointing bit of info in the press release you’ll see below is that the game title is apparently a working title. Hopefully Namco Bandai comes to their senses and just makes it the official one.

To read up more on both announcements, feel free to check out the full press release from Namco Bandai below.
