As was announced not all that long ago, Microsoft today has expanded the $99 Xbox 360 with Kinect bundle to other retailers. In addition to Microsoft Stores, both Best Buy and GameStop will also be carrying this experimentally priced new bundle.
To recap, the deal is as follows…
Buy the $99 Xbox 360 with Kinect bundle at a participating retailer and then agree to pay $14.99 a month for the next 2 years. If you decide to break contract you’ll have to pay a termination fee of course, depending on how many months you have been paying into your contract. The bundle includes a 4GB XBox 360 console, a Kinect sensor, and an Xbox Live Gold subscription.
It can potentially save you a few bucks, especially up front, so it’s really not a bad deal if you are willing to continue paying for your Xbox 360 when the next Xbox may have already launched.
You’ll also get a peek at the stage set in the futuristic city of Birnin…
If you like the taste that you got, pre-orders for the full title are also…
At least these retro reproductions are properly labeled…
