“Arcade NEXT” XBLA event features Trials Evolution, Bloodforge, Fable Heroes and Minecraft Xbox 360 Edition

Microsoft, via Major Nelson, has announced the next Xbox Live Arcade game event titled appropriately “Arcade NEXT”.

Besides a new XBLA game launching every week from April 18th through May 9th, and each of these games offering the now expanded Gamerscore and Achievement capabilities, there doesn’t seem to be anything special offered for those who take part in the event. But still, Trials Evolution, Bloodforge, Fable Heroes and Minecraft Xbox 360 Edition are all big releases, so that is probably all you’ll need.

Spring?s most anticipated Xbox LIVE Arcade games are headed to your living room with ?Arcade NEXT? from Microsoft Studios and Xbox LIVE. Beginning April 18, a new downloadable title will launch on Xbox LIVE Arcade from Microsoft Studios every Wednesday, through May 9.
