Take a dash of pinball and a dollop of space maneuvering action, and you sort of have Beatshaper’s StarDrone Extreme for the PlayStation Vita.
The portable Vita version of the game has been confirmed to be cross compatible with the already available PS3 version, which is a nice touch if you own both. Additional features include touchscreen and rear touch pad controls and new and redesigned levels.

StarDrone Extreme is currently scheduled for a March 2012 release on the PSN.
More about the game directly below.
StarDrone Extreme is a perfect blend of high-speed physics and pinball action, with strategic elements of break-out and object collection. But this is no walk amongst the stars, as the Drone is always in motion in the zero gravity environment, and the more stellar matter collected, the faster it travels until it is careening across the screen at light speed. Gather enough momentum and enter into Comet Rush where the Drone is impervious to all enemies and obstacles. Cause your attackers to crash with rapid speed while collecting gems and power-up enhancements. Explore the level to find key power-ups and earn more points that will ultimately let you compete against the world on the StarDrone Extreme leaderboards. With simple gesture controls and unique, intuitive game play mechanics, StarDrone Extreme is friendly to beginners, at the same time challenging enough to bring you back for more and more.
StarDrone Extreme features:
- Front touchscreen and rear touch pad switchable controls
- An exclusive new levels, redesigned old ones
- Easy/Hard mode
- PS3/PS Vita shared scoreboards
- PlayStation 3 cross continuous gameplay (coming with PS3 version patch) – save can be shared between consoles.
