Sonic the Hedgehog 4 Episode II screenshots are pure eye candy

Yes, screens leaked out earlier, but Sega today has sent over the official batch of Sonic the Hedgehog 4 Episode II screens, and wow, they are totally gorgeous.

If it plays just a bit better than Episode I, then they definitely have a winner… at least visually.

Sonic the Hedgehog 4 Episode II is due to be released sometime this year for XBLA, PSN, iOS, Android and Windows Phone platforms.
