Harmonix this morning has launched a free, brand new mobile companion app for Dance Central 2 called the Dance Central 2 Dance*Cam.
This Windows Phone, iOS, and Android app gives Dance Central fans a way to preview some of the dance tracks from DC2, as well as practice dance moves and even record and upload a video of the routine. Of course, you can then embarass yourself by sharing the result on Facebook.

Now available in the US (and coming soon to Europe, as well) on Windows Phone, iOS, and Android, the free Dance Central 2 Dance*Cam mobile application will allow dancers to select previews of some of today?s biggest dance tracks taken straight from the acclaimed Dance Central 2 soundtrack, practice their moves, and record themselves dancing.
Once a performance is recorded, Dance*Cam ?Dancifies? the routine into a fun personalized music video, combining your dance moves! Users can showcase their skills on Facebook and challenge their friends to a mobile dance battle. If they accept, a mash-up video of both friends? performances is created, letting Facebook friends see who really busted the best moves!
