PlayStation Vita 3G/Wi-Fi Launch Bundle revealed, includes 8GB card, free PSN game and more for $299.99

SCEA today revealed a brand new PlayStation Vita SKU which may change your pre-order plans a bit if you already have one of the Vita systems or bundles on order.   So read on.

Called the PlayStation Vita 3G/Wi-Fi Launch Bundle, this new bundle appears to replace the 3G only Vita system on Amazon (so far), and offers more goodies for the same price.

Instead of just a PlayStation Vita 3G/Wi-Fi system for $299.99, you’ll also get a 8GB Memory Card + AT&T DataConnect Session Pass + Free PSN Game, for the same exact price.  The only catch is that you’ll need to activate the free AT&T DataConnect Pass in order to get the free game code, which can be used on any Vita game available in the PlayStation Store.   The code actually won’t be available until 30 days after the DataConnect Pass is redeemed either.

This differs from the First Edition Bundle, which ships a week early, has a case, a physical copy of Little Deviants and has only a 4GB card.

Hmmm.. decisions, decisions.  Apparently,  this bundle will only be available for a limited time as well. Oh, and in case you were wondering,  Amazon says they will be upgrading all existing PlayStation Vita 3G/Wi-Fi pre-orders  to the PlayStation Vita 3G/Wi-Fi Launch Bundle, so you’re covered if you bought from there.

We’ve updated our pre-order guide to feature the new bundle, so check that out if you haven’t already.
