First look at THQ and Obsidian’s new South Park RPG

THQ this morning sent over the first screens and game art from their upcoming South Park RPG.

The new, and apparently epic, South Park: The Game RPG is in development by none other than Obsidian Entertainment who were also responsible for Knights of the Old Republic II, Alpha Protocol and Dungeon Siege III. They know their way around the genre so we are definitely expecting the best. The title is being prepared as a full-featured, disc-based retail release, and is being developed in conjunction with South Park Digital Studios, so it better be good.

Check out the gallery below.

The South Park: The Game is scheduled to be released for the PS3, Xbox 360 and PC during the second half of 2012. Make sure to pre-order it from our Amazon link further down.

About the South Park RPG:

Developed in collaboration with South Park Digital Studios LLC, the joint venture between South Park creators Matt Stone and Trey Parker and Viacom Media Networks and Obsidian Entertainment, Inc., South Park: The Game is an epic role-playing adventure that will allow the user to befriend Stan, Kyle, Cartman and Kenny and explore the quiet little mountain town like never before. South Park: The Game is scheduled for release this year (2012).
