Choplifter HD set to lift off on XBLA, PSN and PC next week

Choplifter HD is indeed finally ready to lift off on both the PlayStation Network and Xbox Live Marketplace. Besides being in HD obviously the arcade classic reboot will be released by InXile Entertainment and/or Konami (depending on the platform) and will feature quite a lot more game than the original.

It’ll also set you back $14.99 or 1200 Microsoft Points when it launches on January 10th and 11th. The developers somehow found a way to sneak in a number of cameos from famous videogame characters such as Duke Nukem and Super Meat Boy, so that may make the whole package worth it…

InXile Entertainment today confirmed release dates and pricing for Choplifter HD across the PlayStation Network, Xbox Live Arcade and PC. Gamers can also look forward to a few cameos from some of the videogame industry’s most legendary leading men including Duke Nukem and Super Meat Boy. Choplifter HD combines intense action, humor and tons of variety, creating developer inXile Entertainment’s own, fresh take on the original Choplifter experience.
