Sine Mora, the joint Grasshopper Manufacture and Digital Reality-developed time manipulating, diesel-punk shoot ’em up has been picked up by Microsoft Studios and will officially be an Xbox Live Arcade exclusive (for now at least).
The game doesn’t have a price nor a release date, but it’s looking like a mid-2012 release at the very least right now.

Digital Reality Publishing announced today that Sine Mora, its long awaited shoot?em up game based on time manipulation set to revolutionize the genre, will be available exclusively on Xbox LIVE Arcade for the Xbox 360 video game and entertainment system from Microsoft.
Co-developed by Grasshopper Manufacture Inc. (Japan) and Digital Reality (Hungary) and published by Microsoft Studios, Sine Mora is diesel-punk shoot ’em up that provides a unique take on the genre, where time is the ultimate factor. Mixing classic shooter sensibilities with next-gen presentation, Sine Mora is a gorgeous shmup that appeals to both hardcore and casual gamers alike. The engrossing Story Mode weaves an over-the-top tale, while the Arcade Mode provides deep, satisfying gameplay to challenge fans of the genre. Sine Mora features over 60 combinations of planes, characters and time manipulation devices to complete every beautifully-crafted stage with scaling difficulty. All of this is set to an epic score of soaring heights, composed by Akira Yamaoka, acclaimed for his works on the Shadows of the Damned and Silent Hill series.
