Capcom this morning revealed the brand new, Heroes Mode for their upcoming team-based Resident Evil shooter, Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City. The competitive 4 vs. 4 mode will feature eight classic Resident Evil characters who will get the chance to join in on the action.
They have also released several new screens and a trailer showing off the new mode in action.
Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City isscheduled for a March 20th, 2012 release for the PS3 and Xbox 360. The PC version does not have a confirmed date yet.

Heroes Mode players will be able to compete in four vs. four multiplayer with classic Resident Evil characters including Leon. S Kennedy, Jill Valentine, Hunk and Ada Wong. Players will assume the role of either the good or bad guys and compete against each other in a battle for survival. But it?s not that simple. Adding a twist to the traditional TPS gameplay, players will not only need to defeat the opposing team but also zombies and B.O.W?s delivering a compelling triple threat battle.

Owners of the game on the Switch will get a free upgrade.
